The Anaheim Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the Business Links Golf Tournament, the premier event for connecting businesses and creating networking opportunities. This year's event is scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2006 at Anaheim Hills Golf Course.

Enjoy this unique opportunity to link with elected officials, city staff and major business leaders in a relaxed, fun atmosphere!

This year, the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce will be honoring Tony Bruno, Vice President, Disneyland Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney, and Rich Knowland, Regional Vice President, Lennar Homes.

Guests are welcome to attend the social mixer immediately following the golf tournament for a charge of $20.

Join the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce for First Friday Breakfast. Hear interesting business topics from a new speaker every month and network with other Anaheim businesses!

This month will be "Commercials Only." Prepare a memorable 45-second commercial... Be creative!! You have 45 seconds to be funny, descriptive, professional, or even silly. Learn excellent promotion techniques from others' commercials! Prizes will be awarded for the "Funniest," "Most Descriptive" and "Most Creative." Past winners include Dave Robbins of L&N Linen and Doug Shively of Inoye, Shively & Longtin CPAs.

Tony Bruno with the Disneyland Resort and Rich Knowland with Lennar Corporation were recently named Honorees for the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce's 2006 Business Links Golf Tournament, scheduled for May 15, 2006 at Anaheim Hills Golf Course.

These two business leaders were selected to celebrate the successes of and tremendous benefits to the community from the Disneyland Resort's 50th Anniversary Celebration and Lennar's A-Town in the Platinum Triangle.

Tony Bruno is the Vice President of Disneyland Resort Hotels and Downtown Disney. His role is to provide leadership, new business strategies and oversee all aspects of operations and guest service for the 2,237 guest rooms and facilities among the Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Downtown Disney.

Rich Knowland is the Orange County Regional Vice President of Lennar Corporation, one of the nation's leading homebuilders. Knowland is responsible for Lennar's operations throughout Orange County. Specifically, Knowland is overseeing the development of several high-profile master plans and redevelopment programs including A-Town, 2,500 homes in an urban village in Anaheim's Platinum Triangle.

Where: Boomerang Grill & Sports Bar, 195 Center Street Promenade in Anaheim

This program is for those who are serious about networking and generating leads. The cost is $10 per member with a reservation, $12 without a reservation and $15 for prospective members. Bring lots of business cards and a good introduction. Reservations are required as space is limited. Make your reservation by next Tuesday at 4 p.m. and you will be placed on a "Leads Sheet" to be passed out at the Luncheon (only Chamber Members will be placed on Leads Sheet).

The Anaheim Chamber of Commerce continued its tradition of successful networking mixers at the April Mixer, a joint venture with the Orange Chamber of Commerce, held last Thursday at Dave & Busters. More than 120 people attended to make new contacts and business links with people from each city.

Thank you to Dave & Busters at the Block of Orange, which hosted the mixer for the two Chambers. Thank you also to all the Anaheim members who donated door prizes and helped make the event an even bigger success!
